ONCOLOGY - CHEMOTHERAPY NURSEHome IV Therapy/ Chemotherapy Nurse Up to £31K plus company car (or allowance)Background;Our Clients vision is to enhance the way in which clinical and pharmaceutical services are provided for patients, their families and carers. Trying to achieve this through the provision of innovative services to patients in the comfort of their own homes, as well as delivering innovative services on site within the NHS and the independent sector.Role;The successful applicant will be part of a team that provides an innovative range of complex, high-tech healthcare services to patients, mostly in the comfort of their own homes. About 100,000 patients receive our services annually, and around 500,000 prescriptions are prepared, dispensed and delivered annually on their behalf by our clientResponsibilities;•Reporting directly to the Clinical operations manager you will be Co-ordinating and ensuring all aspects of care for assigned groups of clients are met, through the monitoring of follow up client visits according to care plans. •Ensuring that all relevant information regarding patients is recorded reported and where necessary, acted upon to communicate any changes to the GP/Consultant and other team members as appropriate. •You will also be assisting the referring Consultant and hospital in planning a smooth transition of patient care from hospital to home.Successful Applicants will have or be experienced in;•Working in an Acute care setting•RGN part 1 •Full NMC registration•CANNULATION AND PHLEBOTOMY SKILLS ARE ESSENTIAL•Care of IV devices and administration of IV therapies•A current clean driving licence is essential•Comfortable with lone working in patients homes•Administration of Chemotherapy (desirable but not essential) Package;In return you will be offered a salary of;•£25 to £31K depending upon experience + Company car or £4,250 car allowance •Flexible Working hours•Excellent company benefits including oLife Insurance, oBUPA healthcare after 2 years, oNMC Annual Registration fees paid and contributory pension.To find out more about this position and others like it please contact our permanent recruitment team Please forward a copy of your most up to date CV to Independent Clinical Services
